Helger Jaas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hillar Ots's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bin Schadenfroh during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of JK Päntajalad booed when Dune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bin Schadenfroh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eino Raid took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helger Jaas. Dune's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to JK Päntajalad getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. In the 27th minute, Marti Hull left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dune fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kusti Rajamäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Olt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Dune's Ainar Ütt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Hillar Ots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Dune were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
