After having played for 19 minutes, Augusto Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez Sarsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, PLUMAS's Domingos Ixona got a free kick in the 20th minute. Prudencio Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of PLUMAS's Prudencio Poz. Prudencio Poz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, PLUMAS's Clemente Salomon got a free kick in the 27th minute. PLUMAS's Prudencio Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 29th minute of play. Velez Sarsfield's attentive Javier Pinola managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Salomon made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Augusto Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Augusto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Salomon made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico. Augusto Cordario took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Poz. Prudencio Poz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 40 minutes into the game, Velez Sarsfield's Filomeno Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Poz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dobrin Baltiyski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PLUMAS's Prudencio Poz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save PLUMAS from getting a goal against them. In the 57th play minute Augusto Cordario came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prudencio Poz. 0-8. PLUMAS made a substitution. Orlando Beltza replaced Dobrin Baltiyski. The crowd rose to their feet as Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prudencio Poz. That made the score 0-9 after 61 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, PLUMAS's goalkeeper Prudencio Poz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. 67 minutes into the match, PLUMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Cordario came free, but Prudencio Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, PLUMAS's goalkeeper Prudencio Poz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. Augusto Cordario scored 0-11 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Poz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Yiyo Bernal replaced Marcos Pacifico. A sloppy throw-in by Urbano Benvido in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Velez Sarsfield's Sun Zhi Zhen. Prudencio Poz came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario. But to his dismay, Augusto Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 87 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beltza came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Cordario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Prudencio Poz made a huge save. Augusto Cordarios short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Prudencio Poz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Luc Vonk fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMAS's protests and gave Luc Vonk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Luc Vonk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the PLUMAS defense, Ago Tramp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Poz. The PLUMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Poz should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Velez Sarsfield could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PLUMAS throughout the match.
