When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Victor Ortle put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vihren Dandov. 16 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Betinho Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Nordal. When Gösta Lind came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Swedish Airline Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Lind couldn't finish the play. Swedish Airline Team's Joel Nordal got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vihren Dandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Trondsen in the 23rd minute of play. Swedish Airline Team's Vihren Dandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ortle in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Victor Ortle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vihren Dandov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Victor Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Swedish Airline Team's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ortle came free, but Vihren Dandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sid Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vihren Dandov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Palmquist got free with Betinho Moura in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Palmquist in the 35th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Betinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Sven-Olof Palmquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lind in the 41st minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Betinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Palmquist in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Miltos Kosmakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vihren Dandov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Nordal made the kick off in the second half. Swedish Airline Team's Vihren Dandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ortle in the 57th minute of play. Joel Nordal hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Swedish Airline Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.:s goal. 64 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Nordal came free, but Betinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jailson Vander hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lind in the 69th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Betinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Swedish Airline Team booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Tufan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Swedish Airline Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Rang in the 90th minute of the match. Vihren Dandov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Lampard, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vihren Dandov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 102nd match minute when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Vágner Severo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
