Jan Pihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Diniz in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Koppens in the 6th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Tătaru in the 9th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Koppens in the 10th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Diniz came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Diniz in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Gallegos got free with Jan Pihlberg in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jan Pihlberg came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Águila's Ricky Koppens. But to his dismay, Ricky Koppens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Herminio Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jan Pihlberg made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Club Deportivo Águila's Manuel Reyes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Stig-Ove Blomqvist replaced Horia Tătaru. 46 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Florinio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Florinio in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Diniz was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ricky Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Diniz came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashley Cole didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Águila's zone, Stig-Ove Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Guimarães came out of the goal and Stig-Ove Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Preator Edikt's Albert Örnberg was substituted for Fellipe Vianna. In the 60th minute Dário Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Blomqvist came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Stig-Ove Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preator Edikt's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Deportivo Águila made a substitution. Ivan Viscarra replaced Herminio Florinio. Club Deportivo Águila's Angel Velis was substituted for Ricky Koppens. In the 77th minute of the match Jiang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dong Hui Yue hit a great ball. Jan Pihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute Ivan Viscarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 88th minute of the match. Preator Edikt's Kenneth Björnberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dong Hui Yue in the 90 minute of the game. Jan Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Velis in the 94th minute of the match. Preator Edikt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
