Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tomasini in the 3rd minute of play. Alfredo Tomasini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ruy Berger made a huge save. Vinará FC's Tomas Eriksson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruy Berger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrāds Rabkins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ALIANZA 1901's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rojelio Daza in the 13th minute. Ruy Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Belém, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Vinará FC got a corner. ALIANZA 1901's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfredo Tomasini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Konrāds Rabkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vinará FC defense, Alfredo Tomasini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrāds Rabkins. The Vinará FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrāds Rabkins should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Tomasini struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Konrāds Rabkins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALIANZA 1901. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Boleslaw Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Tomasini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrāds Rabkins was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Konrāds Rabkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute ALIANZA 1901 were awarded a corner. Rojelio Daza went to the cornerflag to take it. 42 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tomasini notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins. Konrāds Rabkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrāds Rabkins having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armindo Belém made a kick off. With a little luck, Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins got control of the ball when Alfredo Tomasini tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Escobar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konrāds Rabkins. That made the score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. Mattin Boiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ruy Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrāds Rabkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Luis Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrāds Rabkins having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Konrāds Rabkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Belém came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Tomasini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konrāds Rabkins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mattin Boiro made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Berger. ALIANZA 1901's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 89thth minute of the game Alfredo Tomasini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Kismi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Luis Escobar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
