The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Bencivenni during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bencivenni. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atahan Balon. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Jacob in the 11th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Pastor Ado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon did a great save. The Errecaborda AFC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Bencivenni was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni got a free kick in the 28th minute. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Sandalio's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Isidro Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atahan Balon came out of the goal and Isidro Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Sandalio. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Honesto's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Sandalio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 47 minutes, Victorino Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Sandalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Sandalio made a kick off. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Mauro Rameriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atahan Balon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 62nd minute of play. Atahan Balon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Rameriz went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Errecaborda AFC's Victorino Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atahan Balon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 80th minute Mauro Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Erubiel Txaran got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Los Muchachos del 86's Jérémie Boix was substituted for Efrain Jacob. In the 83rd match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Txaran to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Isidro Gines hit a great ball. Victorino Sandalio might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Sandalio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luka Ljubenković in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Verdun saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. Luka Ljubenković had several of the Errecaborda AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-1 score and a disappointed Edmond Verdun as he didn't even see the shot coming. Errecaborda AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
