A sloppy throw-in by Feliksas Fenichev in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nacional's Felipe Carballo. 11 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juaneizu Merida. Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nacional's Joseph Gayoso suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Feliksas Fenichev's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliksas Fenichev helped the player get up and apologised. Feliksas Fenichev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Viña in the 19th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fernando Selatse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. If Grabiel Escorcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th play minute Alvaro Raymond came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juaneizu Merida. 3-0. Alvaro Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Despidida AFC's attentive Kajetan Gdowik managed to snatch the ball when Felipe Carballo made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Juaneizu Merida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juaneizu Merida was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Grabiel Escorcia made the kick off in the second half. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ursino Brunet, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Despidida AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nacional for a fine match.
