Ciro Ferdinand stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Atahan Balon. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Mugur Chiriac notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon. Atahan Balon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Chwalkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Pankracy Glogowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 19 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Albino Peruanton. Anselmo Nevada struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Atahan Balon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 22nd minute of play. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 24th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Honesto in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Alfonso Goicoechea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atahan Balon. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atahan Balon should have stopped the shot. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Mugur Chiriac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Goicoechea to make the kick off. Alfonso Goicoechea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Atahan Balon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 52 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Artaldo. After 58 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albino Peruanton who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Los Muchachos del 86's Erubiel Txaran to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Goicoechea in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Goicoechea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atahan Balon was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Bencivenni in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. After recieving a nice pass, Los Muchachos del 86's Albino Peruanton tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
