The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuri Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Kajetan Gdowik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laércio Trigo having to make a save. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Delassus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Rizzo. 16 minutes into the match, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Laércio Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Raymond. 17 minutes into the match, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Laércio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Hatun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Tarcisio Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Delassus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute of the match, Ancho Branca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laércio Trigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 32 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laércio Trigo. Alvaro Raymond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Laércio Trigo was a little too slow when Alvaro Raymond got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Gabriel Delassus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Kajetan Gdowik kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Laércio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 62nd minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Bertrand Hatun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG defense, Dinu Ivănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Trigo. The TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Trigo should have stopped the shot. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bertrand Hatun sent off a good shot on target. Laércio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 86th minute of the match. Laércio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tarcisio Luz hit a great ball. Laércio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Laércio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 95th minute of play forced TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Laércio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
