Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Raymond in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juaneizu Merida saved Nacional from getting behind. Juaneizu Merida came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Gabriel Silban got a free kick in the 17th minute. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Rizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nacional's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Lucila was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Nacional booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Candido came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Fernando Selatse, but to the joy of Despidida AFC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Juaneizu Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Alvaro Raymond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Alvaro Raymond. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juaneizu Merida. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacional's Ursino Brunet was substituted for Grabiel Escorcia. In the 80th minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Xu Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 86th minute, Emiliano Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Gayoso's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Gayoso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position.
