An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 7th minute of play forced • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Dobromir Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Bazil in the 10th minute. After 16 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolek Jajesniak who took care of the corner kick. Alfonso Goicoechea took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Szarmach. Dobromir Szarmach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Dobromir Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Laureano Primeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Primeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Chiriac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Laureano Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. • REGINA •'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. After 47 played minutes • REGINA • got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Primeiro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Goicoechea to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Erramu got free with Dobromir Szarmach in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Ciro Ferdinand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach did a great save. Remigio Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dobromir Szarmach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Szarmach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugur Chiriac's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Primeiro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada got a free kick in the 76th minute. • REGINA •'s Meng Chuan Yong was substituted for Serafino Bazil. After 77 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Nevada. With a little luck, • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach got control of the ball when Alfonso Goicoechea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al Bundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mugur Chiriac received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dobromir Szarmach came out and tried to block the shot, but Mugur Chiriac slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 94th minute.
