In the 4th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Brian Lindberg in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. After a defensive mix-up in GrassNuts FC's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Su Peng Jian came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 24th minute Despidida AFC were awarded a corner. Emanuel Lucila went to the cornerflag to take it. Alvaro Raymond scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Su Peng Jian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peng Jian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Kajetan Gdowik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huang Gang hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Su Peng Jian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Alvaro Raymond made a precise shot to the right of Su Peng Jian. GrassNuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 46 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Su Peng Jian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Raymond was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Cain Velasquez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in GrassNuts FC's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Su Peng Jian came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. If Dinu Ivănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Wahlnäs in the 74th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Finnman to maneuver through the defense. GrassNuts FC's Cosimo Staniscia was substituted for Vitaliy van der Aa. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Staniscia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Selatse saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Su Peng Jian. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 90th minute of play. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Staniscia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Dinu Ivănescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Su Peng Jian, 1-5. The GrassNuts FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Despidida AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
