The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Tytus Orling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinson Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Edinson Haaland notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian. Su Peng Jian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edinson Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Su Peng Jian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Edinson Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Su Peng Jian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Edinson Haaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Su Peng Jian was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter got control of the ball when Verner Wahlnäs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pierre-Emile Højbjerg who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alfred Jonsson hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian got control of the ball when Edinson Haaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Su Peng Jian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Orling in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Wahlnäs came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Bai Feng Xiang was substituted for Su Jian Jie. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Günther Doty replaced Edinson Haaland. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Günther Doty took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Su Peng Jian to make any attempt to save it. When Günther Doty came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günther Doty couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Frankfurter having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 86th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Cosimo Staniscia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Günther Doty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Su Peng Jian having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Chinese CJ Youth Academy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GrassNuts FC.
