Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Victorino Sandalio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Sandalio in the 7th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Zé Paulo da Silva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 17th minute of the match. Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edmond Verdun firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rupert Heidingsfelder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rupert Heidingsfelder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Pastor Ado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Pastor Ado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Verdun saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. In the 37th minute Rupert Heidingsfelder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Paulo da Silva took the corner. Rupert Heidingsfelder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rupert Heidingsfelder was the one to do the kick off. If Rupert Heidingsfelder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Oswald, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Emilio Melzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jerardo came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Heidingsfelder came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Errecaborda AFC got a corner. Hertha 1969's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado to fire away a dangerous shot which Rune Jarstein despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Rupert Heidingsfelder came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Heidingsfelder couldn't finish the play. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. After having played for 87 minutes, Pastor Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. Rupert Heidingsfelder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Rune Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Pastor Ado sent off a good shot on target. Errecaborda AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
