Loukas Bakogiannis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juaneizu Merida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Juaneizu Merida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loukas Bakogiannis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. Remigio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Acereros FC's Remigio Micael. Remigio Micael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Hesjedal in the 18th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Hesjedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 21st minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Micael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grabiel Escorcia went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Glozor in the 27th minute of the match. Juaneizu Merida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loukas Bakogiannis in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Christoffer Hesjedal took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Juaneizu Merida to make any attempt to save it. 34 minutes in the game, Loukas Bakogiannis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Remigio Micael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 minutes Acereros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xu Sha who took care of the corner kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukas Bakogiannis made a kick off. Juaneizu Merida came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Acereros FC's Pankracy Glozor. But to his dismay, Pankracy Glozor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 54 minutes into the game, Grabiel Escorcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remigio Micael. Grabiel Escorcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 57th minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 62nd minute. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Acereros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Remigio Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juaneizu Merida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loukas Bakogiannis went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Grabiel Escorcia had several of the Acereros FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-4 score and a disappointed Remigio Micael as he didn't even see the shot coming. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pankracy Glozor in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juaneizu Merida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigio Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grabiel Escorcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acereros FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gogo Chuse hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
