Abelado Larraona came out of the goal and Hulusi Hazret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ertunç Hükümran might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelado Larraona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertunç Hükümran ran back to his position shaking his head. When Eber Arestizabal came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eber Arestizabal couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Eber Mendizabal in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KOCAELİSPOR's Sinan Kuddus. When KOCAELİSPOR's Ertunç Hükümran in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eber Arestizabal might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vefa İlenç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eber Arestizabal ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Eber Arestizabal could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Vefa İlenç however easily saved by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ertunç Hükümran to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Eber Arestizabal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa İlenç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ersin Kahveci charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ersin Kahveci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vefa İlenç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vefa İlenç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Antonio Cacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 傅常希 charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
