Delmar Berenguer scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vefa İlenç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Delmar Berenguer came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Berenguer couldn't finish the play. Hulusi Hazret's late challenge caught a Hahay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hulusi Hazret helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Hazret. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 8th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vefa İlenç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Hahay's Wawrzyniec Lewandowski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa İlenç was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Rüknettin Nasih. 19 minutes into the game, Delmar Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vefa İlenç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 minutes, Eduardo Camavinga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOCAELİSPOR and the Hahay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hahay booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Camavinga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hahay's Delmar Berenguer in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KOCAELİSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Vefa İlenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Hatman in the 36th minute of the match. Vefa İlenç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Vefa İlenç came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Delmar Berenguer. But to his dismay, Delmar Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski made a precise shot to the right of Vefa İlenç. KOCAELİSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 44 minutes of play, Hahay's Wawrzyniec Lewandowski made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa İlenç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wawrzyniec Lewandowski made a kick off. Hulusi Hazret hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vefa İlenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 52nd minute of the match. Vefa İlenç came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Delmar Berenguer. But to his dismay, Delmar Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Berenguer in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vefa İlenç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vefa İlenç made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wawrzyniec Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Camavinga got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st minute, Eduardo Camavinga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Mich Batshuayi replaced Ersin Kahveci. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eduardo Camavinga hit a great ball. Vefa İlenç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 64th minute of play. Delmar Berenguer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vefa İlenç came out and tried to block the shot, but Delmar Berenguer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Delmar Berenguer took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Vefa İlenç to make any attempt to save it. Hulusi Hazret was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. Hahay's Radoslaw Zakrzewski was substituted for Wawrzyniec Lewandowski. In a very dangerous position, a player in KOCAELİSPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Hahay's Delmar Berenguer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vefa İlenç. In the 80th minute, Delmar Berenguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa İlenç was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After 85 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Rüknettin Nasih. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Hatman in the 91st minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vefa İlenç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vefa İlenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 94th minute of the match. A well placed Delmar Berenguer short distance shot in the 94th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Iwan Skaradoski hit a great ball. Lucas Torreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Hahay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KOCAELİSPOR.
