Jan Pihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pratik Foder in the 14th minute. Snake FC's Osvaldo Pabla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan Pihlberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Snake FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Tătaru in the 45th minute of play. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fellipe Vianna in the 46th minute. Luís Gustavo Barbosa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Lucero to make the kick off. Jan Pihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jiang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillermo Colas. Snake FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guillermo Colas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Federico Illan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg. Jan Pihlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Snake FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Federico Illan hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Pratik Foder came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Colas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Guillermo Colas came out of the goal and Ashley Cole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
