In the 15th minute, George Costanza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lonnie Hurley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Pirlo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Pirlo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lonnie Hurley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Rondeau AFC's Hipolito Misael got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Misael in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lonnie Hurley saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. Costin Jecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georges Collard, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute Georges Collard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Jecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Misael came free, but Lonnie Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Key Biscayne FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Pablo Sorin was slow to take the kick. During this time Rondeau AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute Deon Savage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Jecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Misael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georges Collard was the one to do the kick off. Costin Jecu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Burton in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. George Costanza hit a great ball. Tales Sena hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Misael in the 59th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Wensell came free, but Lonnie Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúl Wensell kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Costin Jecu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Key Biscayne FC's Korey Reed. But to his dismay, Korey Reed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Andreas Pirlo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Rondeau AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Pirlo couldn't finish the play. Rondeau AFC's Costin Jecu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Savage in the 70th minute of play. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Wensell, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dustin Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Misael came free, but Lonnie Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costin Jecu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deon Savage in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Dustin Burton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pablo Sorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rondeau AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
