Mateo Llorienzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Georges Collard made the kick off in the second half. Lonnie Hurley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Banaszak in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Gonsalvo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lonnie Hurley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute Dustin Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Dustin Burton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Llorienzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
