Geovani Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Peixoto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovani Velloso came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Bergamim F.C.'s Tassos Koutsoubos. But to his dismay, Tassos Koutsoubos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leonidas Alejo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Bergamim F.C. booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Creangă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Noia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tassos Koutsoubos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tassos Koutsoubos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geovani Velloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Hélio Lucas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Geovani Velloso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bergamim F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tassos Koutsoubos in the 36th minute. After taking down the ball on Bergamim F.C.'s corner Leonidas Alejo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovani Velloso quite easily take care of the ball. In the 37th minute Claudinei Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 38th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tassos Koutsoubos got free with Geovani Velloso in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Villegas in the 69th minute of play forced Bergamim F.C.'s goalkeeper Didi de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Acosta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Geovani Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergamim F.C.'s Tassos Koutsoubos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovani Velloso. That made the score 0-4 after 76 minutes of play. Didi de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bergamim F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noia the free kick. The audience was convinced that Lando Guazo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani Velloso was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Tassos Koutsoubos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bergamim F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tassos Koutsoubos couldn't finish the play. Bergamim F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
