The throw-in from Laureano Txurio in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Funebrero FC's Isidro Fero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Lartaun in the 11th minute of play forced Jesucristo es la Solución's goalkeeper Nicasio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Alonso having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Basilio Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funebrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Botello came free, but Rodrigo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Jesucristo es la Solución's Gerardo Botello made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicasio Alonso made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Basilio Valiente sent off a good shot on target. Funebrero FC's attack was well implemented in the 24th minute, but when Basilio Valiente was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Nicasio Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Lartaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Botello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eulalio Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funebrero FC's protests and gave Eulalio Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jesucristo es la Solución booed when Funebrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Gentza came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Ongile could save by the left post. After 56 minutes of play, Jesucristo es la Solución's Gerardo Botello made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Jesucristo es la Solución's zone, Hector Lartaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Alonso came out of the goal and Hector Lartaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Gentza got free with Rodrigo Ongile in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Abel Seguinus made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Rodrigo Ongile was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Zacarias Argider capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zacarias Argider really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 79 minutes into the match, Basilio Valiente notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Jesucristo es la Solución's Nicasio Alonso. Nicasio Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eleuterio Ted charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Ted the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Botello in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Funebrero FC's Mario Ursino got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jesucristo es la Solución played a much better game than Funebrero FC and deserved their victory. The Funebrero FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
