An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Collard in the 4th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Burton in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Georges Collard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Key Biscayne FC and the Merengue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Roland Banaszak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lonnie Hurley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Collard in the 11th minute of play. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Collard in the 14th minute of play. Merengue FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Quintyn in the 17th minute. The corner led to Merengue FC's Raimundo Gonsalvo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Ismael Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georges Collard came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Burton came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Jago came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lonnie Hurley could save by the left post. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With an all-out effort, Merengue FC's Lonnie Hurley threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Banaszak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raimundo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Banaszak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Georges Collard sent off a good shot on target. Georges Collard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mateo Llorienzo made a huge save. Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Korey Reed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Key Biscayne FC's Mateo Llorienzo threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dustin Burton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute, 麦风适 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Lucien Goff from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Mateo Llorienzo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 65th minute Roland Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lonnie Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Key Biscayne FC's zone, Roland Banaszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lonnie Hurley came out of the goal and Roland Banaszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Banaszak hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primus Listiyantoro's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primus Listiyantoro helped the player get up and apologised. Primus Listiyantoro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Roland Banaszak took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lonnie Hurley. Lonnie Hurley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Georges Collard was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Collard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Merengue FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Key Biscayne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Quintyn took the corner. Deon Savage thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lonnie Hurley, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 2-1. Roland Banaszak took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lonnie Hurley. Lonnie Hurley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Darwin Núñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
