Roland Banaszak started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merengue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yan Le was slow to take the kick. During this time FUTEBOL ARTE's players had a chance to rest. FUTEBOL ARTE were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Merengue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan Le took the corner. When Vítor Peixoto in the 8th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mateo Llorienzo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 13 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Peixoto came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Vítor Peixoto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mateo Llorienzo to make any attempt to save it. Mateo Llorienzo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yan Le showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Mateo Llorienzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Peixoto in the 22nd minute. Yan Le's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Llorienzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Ismael Frances got a free kick in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Le came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Peixoto got free with Mateo Llorienzo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Claudinho Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Merengue FC's zone, Ulises Manuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Llorienzo came out of the goal and Ulises Manuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Margus Niilus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Banaszak in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vítor Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxi Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, FUTEBOL ARTE's Yan Le shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FUTEBOL ARTE reached it. After some careless play in the FUTEBOL ARTE defense, Domingo Jago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Margus Niilus. The FUTEBOL ARTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Margus Niilus should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, FUTEBOL ARTE's goalkeeper Margus Niilus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Jago. Margus Niilus made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Domingo Jago sent off a good shot on target. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Merengue FC! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for FUTEBOL ARTE. Yan Le stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Llorienzo. 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Frances got free with Margus Niilus in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vítor Peixoto scored 6-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Llorienzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FUTEBOL ARTE's Margus Niilus got control of the ball when Domingo Jago tried to sneak it across the goal line. FUTEBOL ARTE's Margus Niilus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Banaszak in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Juvenal Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Peixoto came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
