Berserkers FC Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 20th minute Elvio Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bottone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Harris in the 29th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Elvio Ted's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Astigar was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Ted came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Victor Trigo. Elvio Ted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Godofredo James replaced Elvio Ted. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón was substituted for Alexander Bottone. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Cordarrell replaced Lisandro Nuñez. In the 72nd minute of the game Merih Güdeş made a throw-in which Steve Harris played forward. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Artur Quintas hit a great ball. Dario Astigar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Steve Harris threw the ball into play from the sideline. SAN LORENZO FC's Léon Valin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Merih Güdeş made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Steve Harris. When the referee blew the final whistle, SAN LORENZO FC could leave the field as winners, despite Berserkers FC Ψ having more of the ball for most of the match.
