The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Erramu during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Erramu in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Harris in the 28th minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Constantin Potocianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd play minute Severino Blanco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantin Potocianu. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Erramu in the 36th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Potocianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Usain Bolt was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Erramu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Erramu got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raimundo Erramu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. Berserkers FC Ψ's Rigoberto Aragones was substituted for Godofredo James. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. Mapovihesa FC's Jerzy Wojno was substituted for Kent Saka. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Potocianu saved Mapovihesa FC from getting behind. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 76th minute of the match. Juan Ignacio Circelli took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Potocianu. Constantin Potocianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 89th minute of the match, Usain Bolt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramiro Gabrio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usain Bolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
