Teobaldo Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Astigar having to make a save. Teobaldo Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 25th minute of play. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Snow having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Ubarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Leandro Laurentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Ubarna in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Astigar saved SAN LORENZO FC from getting behind. If Jakob Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Teobaldo Ubarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Ubarna to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Ubarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Ubarna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 55th minute, Artur Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Snow was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 57 minutes into the game, Humberto Johans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Renacer del Quijano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. After 57 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Johans. Artur Quintas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Snow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Leandro Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dario Astigar made a huge save. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Maximo Distiratsu was substituted for Nunez Maurin. 79 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cordarrell came free, but Tomas Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
