Inter de Guayaquil FC's attentive Xzavier Palomarez managed to snatch the ball when Augustin Văduvescu made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. With his leg Ysmael Marfil managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Inter de Guayaquil FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saffet Ataergin in the 97th minute. A nice corner shot did that Saffet Ataergin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle sounded Inter de Guayaquil FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DINAMO.
