Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Tscherner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Aurelio Belardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anthony Pietrantoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes F.C Biel&Stock got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Werra. If Aldo Catini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C Biel&Stock's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnley FC the free kick. A collision led to F.C Biel&Stock getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Karol Sanocki hit a great ball. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Zjawin in the 64th minute of the match.
