Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loid Focquier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurence Cuppens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Roelants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Angelo Gelens hit a great ball. Niki Roelants kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Dominik De Weerdt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mathias-Alexander De Block tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpina FC's Laurence Cuppens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Roelants in the 29th minute of play. Laurence Cuppens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Van den Berge, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dominik De Weerdt struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mathias-Alexander De Block didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpina FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthoon De Wyngaert during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alpina FC! 39 minutes into the game, Bruly's Matthieu Van den Berge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurence Cuppens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Niki Roelants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaas Van Brussel kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Laurence Cuppens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Van den Berge in the 44th minute of play. The Alpina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bruly were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quentin Leenders to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Van den Berge. Mathias-Alexander De Block came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Alpina FC's Dominik De Weerdt. But to his dismay, Dominik De Weerdt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 59th minute, Geoffrey Van Beetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurence Cuppens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Roelants in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Roelants in the 65th minute of play forced Alpina FC's goalkeeper Laurence Cuppens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alpina FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dominik De Weerdt hit a great ball. Bruly's Matthieu Van den Berge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alpina FC. Laurence Cuppens made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Matthieu Van den Berge sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th match minute, Alpina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik De Weerdt to maneuver through the defense.
