Walmir Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Orozco in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th match minute, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cisneros to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Alfredo Quintupran got control of the ball when Gonçalo Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jardel Guimarães, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Daniel Nóbrega made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Quintupran was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zé Augusto Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupere FC - DMZ's protests and gave Zé Augusto Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Augusto Mineiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Valdo Mazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ the free kick. Valdo Mazza hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Walmir Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Orozco went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Mineiro in the 27th minute of play forced ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s goalkeeper Alfredo Quintupran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Nóbrega 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Daniel Nóbrega got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alfredo Quintupran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nóbrega in the 51st minute of the match. When Hipolito Turpin fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s protests and gave Hipolito Turpin a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Turpin. Walmir Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayron Fevre, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Valdo Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Feliciano Peñafiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Orozco in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Gonzalo Orozco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmir Leme. Walmir Leme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With 72 minutes on the clock, Cristóvão Alves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Feliciano Peñafiel hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Zé Augusto Mineiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Quintupran. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Augusto Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Gonçalo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alfredo Quintupran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonçalo Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alfredo Quintupran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
