After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Gonçalo Baptista got a free kick in the 5th minute. Luc Van Linthaut took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmir Leme. Walmir Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 12 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Gelens. Bruly's Luc Van Linthaut got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Bruly's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander De Block had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo Linhares. In the 28th minute, Zé Augusto Mineiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mathias-Alexander De Block. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Andrew De Graef got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mathias-Alexander De Block made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gonçalo Baptista sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Mathias-Alexander De Block reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Baptista was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dalmo Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdo Mazza's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. Valdo Mazza hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Dalmo Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Raymaekers got free with Walmir Leme in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Bruly booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niki Roelants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Leme having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Linhares during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
