With a little luck, REAL VASCO RIO's Flávio de Queiroz got control of the ball when Zackery Marcola tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edmund Bower hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Angelo Tande sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jasmine Kuch skillfully saved the ball. After 14 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Freeman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kane Kennewell in the 17th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Flávio de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasmine Kuch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brook Yard got free with Flávio de Queiroz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brook Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zackery Hanslow kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jasmine Kuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Aguiar in the 29th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, REAL VASCO RIO's Marcinho Velloso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasmine Kuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Tande during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelo Tande hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute Brook Yard ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Flávio de Queiroz. 1-1. Gregg Garing kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué da Cunha in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Melbourne 007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregg Garing to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zackery Marcola to make the kick off. The supporters of REAL VASCO RIO booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remington Lamb didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's Marcinho Velloso got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brook Yard in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brook Yard took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flávio de Queiroz. Flávio de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Brook Yard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio de Queiroz having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Brook Yard came free, but Flávio de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brook Yard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brook Yard succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Flávio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brook Yard in the 96th minute of the match. After some careless play in the REAL VASCO RIO defense, Zackery Hanslow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio de Queiroz. The REAL VASCO RIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio de Queiroz should have stopped the shot.
