Renan Quirino made a great header on Lupere FC - DMZ's corner, it was just that Alpina FC's Fre Van Beringen managed to reach the ball for a save. After 35 played minutes Alpina FC got a freekick which was hit by Birger Panhuijsen. Renan Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fre Van Beringen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Quirino in the 47th minute of play forced Alpina FC's goalkeeper Fre Van Beringen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Renan Quirino made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Alpina FC's zone, Renan Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fre Van Beringen came out of the goal and Renan Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Renan Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fre Van Beringen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Alpina FC booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alpina FC's Anthoon De Wyngaert shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Walmir Leme but with some difficulty. Alpina FC's Fre Van Beringen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Quirino in the 70th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fre Van Beringen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Flavinho Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lupere FC - DMZ were victorious despite being under pressure from Alpina FC for much of the match.
