Alpina FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 秦梁翀 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alpina FC's Alfons Van Mellaert got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Burhanettin Utman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Damman in the 71st minute. 秦梁翀 kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Thomas Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Van Mellaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Servando Dorado came free, but Thomas Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didier Schollens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Mcvey's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alpina FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Melbourne 007.
