Rudy Duchateau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudy Duchateau made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Breno Sá sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruly's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frédson Mineiro was slow to take the kick. During this time BRASIL.Sp's players had a chance to rest. Bruly's Rudy Duchateau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannick Montens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Vianna in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rudy Duchateau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frederico Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rudy Duchateau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Vianna came free, but Rudy Duchateau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Frederico Vianna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner. Frédson Mineiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Rudy Duchateau acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frédson Mineiro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jacq Van hoegaerde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruly's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacq Van hoegaerde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Breno Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudy Duchateau was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. BRASIL.Sp's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frédson Mineiro in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Sauer in the 68th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Rudy Duchateau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudy Duchateau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ritchie Spoelberghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frederico Vianna took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudy Duchateau. Rudy Duchateau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ritchie Spoelberghe charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ritchie Spoelberghe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ritchie Spoelberghe kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bruly's Rudy Duchateau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Cerezo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Frederico Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudy Duchateau was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Rudy Duchateau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Walter Wyns hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bruly defense, Frederico Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudy Duchateau. The Bruly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudy Duchateau should have stopped the shot.
