The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Melbourne 007's Burhanettin Utman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Give Peace a Chance's Kay Wering in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melbourne 007's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Godo Jaffke could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Thomas Diehl however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kay Wering during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kay Wering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdem Kazım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burhanettin Utman in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Lennie Langhammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Melbourne 007's Bilge Kağan Adem got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thomas Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Wering in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Kay Wering came free, but Thomas Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kay Wering in the 24th minute. Thomas Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Wering in the 28th minute of the match. Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Mcvey in the 30th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Burhanettin Utman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdem Kazım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Burhanettin Utman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burhanettin Utman to make the kick off. A collision led to Give Peace a Chance getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kay Wering hit a great ball. Brendan Rennie hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Give Peace a Chance defense, Blade King kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erdem Kazım. The Give Peace a Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erdem Kazım should have stopped the shot. Konstantin Hirte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennie Langhammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Erdem Kazım stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burhanettin Utman's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 80 minutes, Burhanettin Utman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Blade King was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Blade King hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Erdem Kazım made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Burhanettin Utman sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Hirte came free, but Thomas Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Hirte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Konstantin Hirte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melbourne 007's Thomas Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Hirte came free, but Thomas Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Melbourne 007 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
