Carlo Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anko Bravo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Proietti's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Burnley FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Nubecitas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristoforo Capuozzi took the corner. 13 minutes into the game, Nubecitas FC's Odilon Rivas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peio Guijarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peio Guijarro in the 16th minute of play. Burnley FC's Cristoforo Capuozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anko Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Hatman in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Roch Hatman. In the 32nd minute, Jacobo Gomar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dave Falcioni. The goal made the score 2-0. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Guijarro in the 34th minute of play. Dave Falcioni made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Odilon Rivas sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Peio Guijarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When Godofredo Estruch fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nubecitas FC's protests and gave Godofredo Estruch a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Godofredo Estruch hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Anko Bravo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Hatman. Anko Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Proietti, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Enzo Proietti kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Guijarro in the 70th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Proietti got free with Anko Bravo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Peio Guijarro fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Enzo Proietti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Anko Bravo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 87 minutes on the clock, Odilon Rivas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cristoforo Capuozzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Anko Bravo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Hatman. Anko Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Proietti in the 92nd minute of the match.
