The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Armada's He Wei Feng to fire away a dangerous shot which Dave Falcioni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristi Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Hatman in the 9th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Enzo Proietti lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cristi Miheș. In the 12th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Benkó to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Róbert Benkó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armada's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Benkó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Falcioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Róbert Benkó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dave Falcioni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Anastasios Boukouvalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Benkó in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Armada's Róbert Benkó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Benkó came free, but Dave Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Benkó blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Falcioni having to make a save. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Benkó in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Boukouvalas in the 39th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano De Bonis. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Henry in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Armada's Anastasios Boukouvalas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Armada's attack was well implemented in the 52nd minute, but when Kylian Henry was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Boukouvalas in the 56th minute of play. Dave Falcioni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Róbert Benkó showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 59 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Burnley FC's Anthony Pietrantoni got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Dave Falcioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbert Benkó in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Armada. Kylian Henry stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dave Falcioni. 1-7. Armada made a substitution. Elder Godoi replaced Ma Feng Sen. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Filomeno Igon put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Falcioni. After some careless play in the Burnley FC defense, Kylian Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Falcioni. The Burnley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Falcioni should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Armada's Filomeno Igon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. After 91st play minutes Filomeno Igon shot 1-11, a short shot which went by Dave Falcioni and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasios Boukouvalas got free with Dave Falcioni in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armada played a much better game than Burnley FC and deserved their victory. The Burnley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
