Dave Falcioni came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alpina FC's Servando Dorado. But to his dismay, Servando Dorado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dirk Damman scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Falcioni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servando Dorado in the 33rd minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alpina FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Moreno Torricelli hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Burnley FC's Alfredo Felice got a free kick in the 35th minute. Enzo Proietti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Didier Schollens made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Van Mellaert came free, but Dave Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Proietti was the one to do the kick off. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Van Mellaert in the 54th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Falcioni didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Dirk Damman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dave Falcioni firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, Alfons Van Mellaert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dave Falcioni. The goal made the score 0-7. Marek Czempa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Van Mellaert in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons Van Mellaert got free with Dave Falcioni in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Alfons Van Mellaert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dave Falcioni, 0-8. Dave Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 81st minute, Alpina FC's Servando Dorado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Dave Falcioni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Servando Dorado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 83 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Servando Dorado. After some careless play in the Burnley FC defense, Alfons Van Mellaert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Falcioni. The Burnley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Falcioni should have stopped the shot.
