Melbourne 007's supporters rose to their feet, but Burhanettin Utman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Falcioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Malcolm Mcvey came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Mcvey couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Burhanettin Utman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Melbourne 007's Thomas Diehl got control of the ball when Cristoforo Capuozzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burhanettin Utman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦梁翀 in the 26th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Melbourne 007's Malcolm Mcvey made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blade King came free, but Dave Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Burhanettin Utman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melbourne 007's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Utman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burhanettin Utman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Freitas in the 51st minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Burhanettin Utman took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Dave Falcioni to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brook Yard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, 秦梁翀 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Falcioni. 秦梁翀 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Thomas Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Baykut in the 63rd minute of play. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Freitas in the 64th minute of the match. Burhanettin Utman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Falcioni having to interfere. Thomas Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Hatman in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Burhanettin Utman from a close distance when the talented Dave Falcioni managed to make a qualified save. Burnley FC's players were relieved. In the 76th play minute Burhanettin Utman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dave Falcioni. 0-6. In the 80th minute, Malcolm Mcvey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dave Falcioni, passed just outside the right post. 82 minutes into the game, 秦梁翀 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Dave Falcioni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burhanettin Utman. The supporters of Burnley FC booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blade King didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alemdar Baykut came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Burnley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alemdar Baykut couldn't finish the play. 秦梁翀 struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dave Falcioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melbourne 007. The Burnley FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Melbourne 007 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
