Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alemdar Baykut in the 4th minute of play. Dave Falcioni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kay Wering went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kay Wering was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Give Peace a Chance's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Freddy Falcon's late challenge caught a Give Peace a Chance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Falcon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Falcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Burnley FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godo Jaffke to maneuver through the defense. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Sang in the 17th minute of the match. Roch Hatman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes, Marek Czempa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnley FC and the Give Peace a Chance players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Burnley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Czempa to maneuver through the defense. Give Peace a Chance's Lennie Langhammer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dave Falcioni but with some difficulty. After 22 minutes of play, Give Peace a Chance's Kay Wering made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kay Wering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Kay Wering recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Falcioni. Kay Wering showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Alemdar Baykut notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım. Erdem Kazım was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lu Sang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Dave Falcioni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lennie Langhammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Give Peace a Chance's Kay Wering ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lu Sang made the kick off in the second half. Errol Schürmann-Horster's late challenge caught a Burnley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Godo Jaffke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kay Wering, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Sang in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Falcioni saved Burnley FC from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Kay Wering cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Dave Falcioni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 68 minutes of play, Give Peace a Chance's Lu Sang made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Kay Wering made a precise shot to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 77th minute, Frido Stumpf made a precise shot to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Wering in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Lu Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kay Wering in the 85th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lu Sang in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Falcioni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lu Sang went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Dave Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kay Wering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Give Peace a Chance's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
