In the 10th minute Niceto Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Vrejiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Coidum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Coidum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristinel Vrejiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Călin Agulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Lluciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Coidum came free, but Honorato Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barreal FC:s Honorato Lluciano showed great skill when he stopped Claudiu Coidum:s penalty. In the 36th minute Claudiu Coidum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barreal FC's Honorato Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Coidum in the 36th minute of play. Claudiu Coidum scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Lluciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Claudiu Coidum dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Lluciano, 2-0. Claudiu Coidum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Lluciano having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Călin Agulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Agulescu came free, but Honorato Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Agulescu in the 57th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Honorato Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Coidum in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Agulescu came free, but Honorato Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UFC Mahmudie's Olimpiu Barbăneagră quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rene Pitin, made in the 62nd minute of the game. UFC Mahmudie's Adrian Antoniu was substituted for Călin Agulescu. Maxim Lupeanu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Honorato Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Antoniu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute UFC Mahmudie were awarded a corner. Maxim Lupeanu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal FC's goalkeeper Honorato Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristinel Vrejiu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Severo Rubio. Adrian Antoniu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Honorato Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Antoniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barreal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
