La Pointe Courte's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Roch Felenak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christodoulos Karabogias came out and tried to block the shot, but Roch Felenak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Fausto Roca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jolan Galindo having to interfere. In the 25th minute Roch Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christodoulos Karabogias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Hélder de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jolan Galindo came out of the goal and Hélder de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christodoulos Karabogias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Girault in the 30th minute of play. Roch Felenak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christodoulos Karabogias came out and tried to block the shot, but Roch Felenak slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. Ivan Lidström made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nubecitas FC's Eduardo Tuzzio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes of play, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christodoulos Karabogias was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Nubecitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Girault came free, but Christodoulos Karabogias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Pointe Courte's Gilbert Thellier was substituted for Alain Girault. Nubecitas FC's Pere Serradesanferm was substituted for Sunday Morelos. Nubecitas FC made a substitution. Miftah Astrajingga replaced Lu Yang Nan. Nubecitas FC's Jordi Ferrari was substituted for Hélder de Lara. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Pawel Harendarski replaced Alejo Alonso. Nubecitas FC's Christodoulos Karabogias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Leite in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordi Ferrari got free with Jolan Galindo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Yves Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christodoulos Karabogias was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fausto Roca hit a great ball. Josué Pagueguy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christodoulos Karabogias. Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Leite in the 77th minute of play forced Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Christodoulos Karabogias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Nubecitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uygur Uçkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Nubecitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Leite came free, but Christodoulos Karabogias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
