A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fausto Vimaro hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Futbol Club RRFV got a corner. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Darko Mišura ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that 洪延广 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Luican quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Dracena in the 18th minute of play. Diogo Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habib Al Dosery got free with Angelo Velasco in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Futbol Club RRFV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darko Mišura in the 29th minute. Eric Luican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Samuel Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Eric Luican was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Luican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Vimaro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Luican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, Fausto Vimaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eric Luican was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Vimaro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Luican saved Cosmópolis Futebol Clube from getting behind. After 47 played minutes Cosmópolis Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Montenegro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Zanette was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Melo came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Eric Luican stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Vimaro's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Vimaro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Luican saved Cosmópolis Futebol Clube from getting behind. Luiz Guilherme Sena's late challenge caught a Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme Sena helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Luiz Guilherme Sena got a free kick in the 66th minute. Eric Luican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Samuel Souza took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Eric Luican to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Souza got free with Eric Luican in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Eric Luican when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 84 played minutes Cosmópolis Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Dracena. Darko Mišura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Luican. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eric Luican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fausto Vimaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Luican was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's zone, Samuel Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Luican came out of the goal and Samuel Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Futbol Club RRFV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
