When Matias Zanette in the 4th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Grzegorz Bielecki kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Challenger RT's Grzegorz Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Al Dosery in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Cosmópolis Futebol Clube got a corner. Challenger RT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Steven Fache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Valdemar Dracena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grzegorz Bielecki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Grzegorz Bielecki threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matias Zanette, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Challenger RT booed when Cosmópolis Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Winnicki in the 18th minute of play forced Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eric Luican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Eric Luican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Winnicki in the 23rd minute of play. Grzegorz Bielecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habib Al Dosery in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Matei Zamfira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Luican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Matei Zamfira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Eric Luican. Eric Luican was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matei Zamfira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Luican having to interfere. Valdemar Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Olgierd Winnicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Bielecki made a huge save. Challenger RT's Grzegorz Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Al Dosery in the 38th minute of play. Matei Zamfira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgierd Winnicki to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Gajewski came free, but Eric Luican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Bielecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Al Dosery in the 53rd minute of the match. Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's Eric Luican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Winnicki in the 56th minute of play. If Diogo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Cosmópolis Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Iuri de Souza. Antoni Tarka, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Challenger RT were furious when Antoni Tarka was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Challenger RT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cosmópolis Futebol Clube:s goal. In the 68th minute Janusz Dawiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Luican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Bielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Al Dosery, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Challenger RT's Olgierd Winnicki in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Grzegorz Bielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Al Dosery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Challenger RT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Grzegorz Bielecki had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Steven Fache's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Steven Fache scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Bielecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Olgierd Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Luican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Eric Luican successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eric Luican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgierd Winnicki. Diogo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Bielecki having to interfere. The corner led Challenger RT's Olgierd Winnicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Luican despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Challenger RT players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cosmópolis Futebol Clube.
