Giandomenico Sella kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Lain came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cityzens Mdz's Lukasz Marut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafin Bernal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 24 minutes of play, Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melkior Thorslev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xepe Godan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Melkior Thorslev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Acuña in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Godan came free, but Melkior Thorslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Damaso Lain took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Serafin Bernal to make any attempt to save it. Talleres de Escalada's Cecilio Lesardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Zambata in the 41 minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xepe Godan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Godan in the 68th minute of play forced Cityzens Mdz's goalkeeper Melkior Thorslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Larra hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Lain in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Bernal saved Talleres de Escalada from getting behind. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talleres de Escalada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lukasz Marut was slow to take the kick. During this time Cityzens Mdz's players had a chance to rest. Lukasz Marut made a great header on Cityzens Mdz's corner, it was just that Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal managed to reach the ball for a save.
