A sloppy throw-in by Melquiades Urbes in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Black Sky FC's Feliberto Bembe. 16 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's Arturo Ascencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nihat Mesut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Justo Eguerdi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperanza Fútbol Club's protests and gave Justo Eguerdi a yellow card for diving instead. Justo Eguerdi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ascencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nihat Mesut was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Esperanza Fútbol Club's Nihat Mesut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ascencio in the 31st minute of play. Black Sky FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Iyan in the 32nd minute. Black Sky FC's Teofilo Iyan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nihat Mesut in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nihat Mesut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Barco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperanza Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Nihat Mesut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nihat Mesut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Ascencio in the 37th minute of the match. After 43 minutes Esperanza Fútbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofilo Iyan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Black Sky FC's corner Teofilo Iyan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nihat Mesut quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Valentín Barco sped through Esperanza Fútbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nihat Mesut. The supporters of Esperanza Fútbol Club booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Monø to make the kick off. Esperanza Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Arturo Ascencio scored to the left of an out of position Nihat Mesut, making the score, 0-5. Nihat Mesut was a little too slow when Arturo Ascencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-6. When Black Sky FC's Arturo Ascencio in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esperanza Fútbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Esperanza Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Severino Rosado hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Iyan couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Iyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nihat Mesut made a huge save. Black Sky FC made a substitution. Nail Horan replaced Primitivo Natanael. Melquiades Urbes made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor Monø immediately put the ball in play. 72 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's Antonio De Schutter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nihat Mesut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nihat Mesut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio De Schutter in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Black Sky FC's Antonio De Schutter made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nihat Mesut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esperanza Fútbol Club's Mauricio Lano was substituted for Melquiades Urbes. Antonio De Schutter took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nihat Mesut. Nihat Mesut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.
