After having played for 15 minutes, Zlatko Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatko Ibrahimović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes, Denmark's Paw Carbac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darrel Pennington came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. A sloppy throw-in by Walther Steinrud in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Canada's Jamey Hankins. After 42 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Kalonzo Kalogerakis. In the 43rd minute, Nichlas Glastrup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darrel Pennington was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

After 54 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Kalonzo Kalogerakis. Jacinto Vela made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Léopold Thomas immediately put the ball in play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Derek Yu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denmark made a substitution. Denmark's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalonzo Kalogerakis in the 82nd minute of play. Nils Elmhuus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avery Merrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Derek Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svend Betz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Pennington having to interfere. With a little luck, Canada's Darrel Pennington got control of the ball when Teddy Tholsted tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Merrill in the 91st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Derek Yu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Nils Elmhuus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Canada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
