Martin Gelacio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th match minute, Nutridal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Barrieta to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rafael Carrera sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Malpaso booed when Nutridal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendoza Boiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Paratorrecilla in the 24th minute of play forced Malpaso's goalkeeper Martin Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Malpaso's Enrique Castulo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Pabon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Bartolo Matai fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malpaso's protests and gave Bartolo Matai a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malpaso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Malpaso:s Martin Gelacio showed great skill when he stopped Mora Maldonado:s penalty. Malpaso's Martin Gelacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Malpaso from getting a goal against them. Daniel Pabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Baudelio in the 36th minute of the match. Martin Gelacio was a little too slow when Mora Maldonado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-2. Martin Paratorrecilla's late challenge caught a Malpaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Paratorrecilla helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Carrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Martin Gelacio made a huge save. After 45 minutes Malpaso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mora Maldonado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vincente Barrieta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Malpaso's Martin Gelacio did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Castulo was the one to do the kick off. Martin Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Carrera in the 52nd minute of play. When Eugenio Bonadona fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malpaso's protests and gave Eugenio Bonadona a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Malpaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Enrique Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malpaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Pabon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Carrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Rafael Carrera came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Nutridal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Carrera couldn't finish the play. Martin Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mora Maldonado in the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Bruno Stanislao rounded Nutridal FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. In the 85th minute, Osvaldo Baudelio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Pabon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Enrique Castulo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Pabon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Castulo ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Pabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Castulo in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Nutridal FC got a freekick which was hit by Mora Maldonado. 92 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Gaueko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Pabon. Bonifacio Gaueko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Malpaso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
